Work hours are not required to remain a member. If you choose not to put in your work hours, you will be assessed $5.00 for each hour not worked.

At the November meeting, members voted to raise dues for 2009. The money from the current dues and what money makers we have going on, are not enough to cove our yearly expenses. The members voted to raise the value of work hours to $5 per hour, up from the $2.50 an hour. Last year a regular member's dues were $95 a year dues, which could be worked down to $35 by doing 24 work hours or bringing in $200.00 profit from calendar sales. Next year the regular member dues will be $155, but can be worked down to $35 dollars.

Work hours are accumulated, beginning the first day November and ending on the last day of October of each membership year. You can earn credit for work hours by working the scheduled work parties, working fish fries, selling tickets, or cooking for meeting night, etc.

Work parties may be announced at any meeting. You can also contact one of the chairmen (officers) such as the archery, trap, range, lake, game, or conservation chairmen to get work hours. (they can all use some help)
